SOULBENDER FEATURING QUEENSRYCHE GUITARIST, NEVERMORE DRUMMER: SEATTLE SHOW CANCELLED

SOULBENDER — the band formed by QUEENSRYCHE guitarist Michael Wilton, ex-MY SISTER'S MACHINE singer Nick Pollock, ex-TIN PAN/FALLEN ANGEL guitarist Dave Groves, ex-ASSAULT/FALLEN ANGEL drummer Wes Hallam, and bassist Chuck Miller (PEACE AND SILENCE, DR. UNKNOWN) — has been forced to cancel its previously announced show in Seattle tonight (Saturday, January 6) at Studio 7. According to NEVERMORE drummer Van Williams, who was supposed to fill in behind the kit for the gig, 'the singer is sick and will not be able to perform. I've been learning the music and have had a few rehearsals with the rest of the band and things have been going really great but his illness prevents us from putting on the show.'

SOULBENDER — featuring Williams on drums — is still scheduled to play the following dates:

Jan. 25 - Stars Cabaret – Salem, OR
Jan. 26 - Rock and Roll Pizza - Portland, OR

SOULBENDER's self-titled debut album was released independently in 2004. A new rough-mix demo track, entitled 'Chisel and Hammer', can be heard on the band's MySpace page.
