FURZE TO APPEAR ON 'WINE OF SATAN 2' COMPILATION

Norwegian black metal band FURZE has issued the following update:

'FURZE will participate on the 'Wine of Satan 2' compilation LP/CD later in 2007. Those of you old enough might remember this Greek output 'Wine of Satan' from 1993. The original label passed the rights on to Necroterror Records and FURZE is the only Norwegian band they wanted to have on this Vol. 2.....

'The [new FURZE album] 'UTD' will be released on limited deluxe 1500 [copies] digipack (black embossed logo etc). Only the European version will be digi. Preorder the CD from Candlelight now!

'The 'UTD' LP was delayed by the not-so-happening Pirates Press USA. Worship Him Records paid all pressing, gave pressing details and delivered the files allready in early November but somehow they managed to promise a release in good time before X-mas BUT waited till one week before X-mas before checking our file info and the files themselves!! GREAT WORK, GUYS !!! Pirates... the name says it all, I should've known! We now hope to ship the records within a couple of weeks but I won't promise anything.'

A brand new FURZE track, entitled 'A Life About My Sabbath', has been posted online at the Candlelight Records MySpace page. The song comes off the band's third album, 'UTD', due in the U.S. on February 20 (February 5 in Europe). 'UTD' is the Candlelight debut from FURZE and it features guest drumming from Frost (SATYRICON, 1349) on two of the album's eight punishing tracks.

'UTD' track listing:

01. A Life About My Sabbath (feat. Frost)
02. Demonic Order In The Eternal Fascist's Hall
03. Beneath The Wings Of The Black Vomit Above (feat. Frost)
04. The Deeds That Grasp To The Candle's Shade
05. Mandragora Officinarum
06. Goatbreath
07. Deep In The Pot Of Fresh Antipodal Weave
08. Djerve Djevel

Last fall, Candlelight U.K. reissued the band's previously unavailable early recordings, 'Necromanzee Cogent' and 'Trident Autocrat' (originally released in 1999 via Norway's Apocalyptic Empire Records).
